There's a ton of the Hitch around here and I think with this release we've the entire van full of their physical releases. And what a mighty release this is, from about the middle of their existence, 2001, it's some of the finest tuneage they've got. Prince of the Sawmill is the hit, being the title track, sort of a midtempo crunch-a-thon until about half way through the tune, where they break it down in a heaviest of ways to let you clean the mud off your boots. A working class band with a working class anthem, takes me back to a time when it was sweat and grime was what your days were all about, and at the end of the day your clothes would walk themselves to the hamper. Side B, is not some sloppy filler either, it's a little more high tempo with this killer funky psychedelic vibe, showing the band can mix it up. These guys are not only some of the finest human beings on this God forsaken planet, but they've got talent oozing out of their pores and when it comes to Rock n Roll, they blow the doors off the pick up truck...
