Garden Weasel-Without Direction 7"

Well the turntable is up and running so I decided it was time to post some vinyl.  I'm not too familiar with it yet and at this point, for some reason, I am having to turn the levels way up to get a "decent" recording.  I don't want to dwell on it too much except that I have always been impressed by sites that do "excellent" quality vinyl rips.  Oh well this is what I have and hopefully it will be listenable.

I thought I'd start with the only piece of vinyl I have had the pleasure to be on.  We were fortunate on this, in that Jim Shank, the guitar player in my previous band WD-40, was good friends with this guy Todd Congelier.  I guess Todd was this ripping skater (pro maybe?) who was also a musician releasing his own records on his Recess Records label.  Todd had heard the WD-40 demo and wanted to put something like that out.  Unfortunately WD-40 was done and Garden Weasel was what was going on.  I wish WD could have put out some vinyl too.  We sent Todd a tape and he was willing to actually put that onto vinyl but we convinced him to let us do another recording.  You can read about this in more detail at our guitar player's blog here, http://edcolebands.blogspot.com/ .  He has a much better mind than I do.  Anyway this was the third release on Recess, the other two being Todd's ripping band FYP.  I think he did two pressings of 500, and gave us 100 copies to do with as we pleased.  I have one on orange vinyl, one black and a test pressing, most of the rest I gave away.  We were pretty proud of this and actually I enjoyed listening to it again.  One thing of interest her is that on Questions, our mellowest song, Chuck from One Man Running sings backup.  That probably makes this the best version of Questions we ever did.  Here's the 7", tell me what you think of the rip and/or the music in general. Syd Barrett - Opel

Let's take it down a notch and mellow out.

 Now Scott G. has been mentioned in this post a few times and let me tell you, he was a character and a half.  Everybody knew Scott up in Humboldt during the late 80's early 90's because of his unique personality.  Several friends (I can't remember who) and I went down to the bay area and Scott hitched a ride.  He was going to stay the night in front of a Ticketron outlet to be first to get Pink Floyd tickets.  When I picked him up he was in a frenzy because he got several "4th row" seats.  He was going nuts and for the next month, at least, all he could say was "4th row" to everyone.  That was Scott.  Idon't know why I didn't go, probably because they were ridiculously expensive, but I probably should have just for historical purposes. I've learned a lot about Syd Barrett in the making of this post but this pretty much sums it up, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syd_Barrett .  I kind of felt sorry for the guy because the guy seemed to be used by EMI, but go figure a big label screwing people over

Antiseen - Noise For The Sake Of Noise

Kinda going with some of the comments going on I thought I would do some Antiseen.  I did Antiseen doing Commando from the Ramones a long time ago in my posts too.  This is a special edition CD release of the album by the same name.  It has the first 12 songs off the LP but they did not include the live songs because the sound quality was bad.  Instead they added 4 other live songs with better sound quality and the We Are Going To Eat You Lp from Jeff Clayton And The Scumgoats.  Buy their records if you can find them.  Here's some samples...

Brujeria - Marijuana

Not too much to say here, I'm kind of tired after a long weekend, but I did one by these guys so I figured I may as well do another.  I did get my turntable this weekend so expect some vinyl here in the near future, which includes at least the El Patron 7".  I haven't even had a chance to play with it, so I don't know how it sounds but don't expect something too stellar because around here we're on a tight budget.

So how about another one from Brujeria?  I dig this one mainly for the live stuff but you can get some live video from Youtube any time you want.  It's crazy how good these guys are musically and I hope you feel the same way.  I'm not too sure where these guys are coming from but if you can get past the silly Satanic thing there is a message.  I don't know if that message is intentional or not but it talks a lot about the whole drug culture.  There is a ton of satire in the message that I get and maybe that's how the whole satanic thing fits in.  Am I reading too much into this?  In my opinion you have to be a Christian of some kind, a believer, in order to be Satanic.  Witchcraft and paganism have nothing to do with Satan.  2000 years ago Satan was really a minor character in the whole Christianity/Judiasm drama that was getting played out.  You get a little bit in the book of Revelation but nobody agrees with what that whole book is about, there is so much metaphorical crap it could be talking about anything, anytime or anyplace.  It wasn't until the dark and middle ages that the church decided to make Satan a big deal and use the idea of him as a form of domination, intimidation and destruction of people.  What is real is the drug culture that Brujeria is talking about.  Anywhere there are poor people there is going to be a culture of drug production.  Every government is corrupt and only serves the needs of the very wealthy.  What choice do people have if the want to get "somewhere" except to get involved with crime (which the government has it's hand in anyway).  The cycle is a sad statement on the human race because very few people are satisfied with being comfortable, they always want more.  Man I could go on and on about this because what it all comes back to is selfishness, the root of all human suffering.  Maybe the Satanists are right, let humanity suffer.

Brujeria - Brujerizmo

 Slam asked for a story about our old Vietnam vet boss,  Dennis.  As I mentioned in another post he was one of Kennedy's "advisors" over there in the early 60's.  He was part of some elite Air Force special forces, but I can't remember the name of the squad or unit or whatever.  Basically he received hardcore training in how to kill.  When they sent him over there, there were several thousand "advisors" there.  The US had not gotten into the war or police action, as it was called, officially yet.  With this in mind Dennis and the rest of the guys he was with could not wear US military gear or weapons.  They wore street clothes and had a choice of weapons that included foreign stuff and guns you might find at a pawn shop here in the US.  His job was basically to seek out and kill Viet Cong officers.  They never just shot anybody and if they did they would leave an impact.  They would cut off limbs, decapitate and cut out the hearts of their targets, to strike fear into anyone that found the bodies.  He told me that it was not unusual to cut a guys heart out and leave it still attached and beating.  Needless to say this did affect Dennis mentally I think and when he came back he had a hard time adjusting.  He was a great boss and taught us all a lot of useful things that I still use today (sharpening blades).  Slam and I went out and got drunk with him a couple of times but I don't remember too much of the specifics there.  One thing I do remember him saying was that after one of those days that was particularly hard he would say the old lady was going to have to sleep on her side of the bed.  Anyway... on to the music.  I got into theses guys, probably 15 or so years ago and was really amazed by their sound.  I have to admit, as you can probably tell, that I sometimes don't know a lot about the bands I post.  I usually just post a band if I liked them at some point in time and enjoyed their music and/or sound.  This made a good read for me, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brujeria_%28band%29 .  I was going to post the first LP, Matando Guerros, but you can find it at one of my favorite blogs here, http://loresviscera.blogspot.com/2007/10/brujeria.html .  He's got a ton of good stuff on the harsher side.  You can pretty much find everything they've ever done if you go to the Google Blogsearch link I have (or any band for that matter).  I will post another one of their CD's and at least one 7" later on.  You can even get Brujeria ringtones for your cell, which was good for a healthy laugh on my part.  I don't ever watch Headbanger's Ball anymore because it's all, what I call pop-grindcore, but I wouldn't be surprised if they have a video or two.  Any one know?  They are on  http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/ and this is probably available so go get their records there.  If anyone wants me to I will get rid of the link to the whole album.  I don't think these guys really need any more money though.  I found this at a quick glance too, www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbwjjnI4l9g .   If you enjoy very brutal grindcore with a satirically satanic slant, all in spanish, then you will dig this music played by some guys that are pretty much "rock stars".  How about a couple of samples first,

Egyptian Lover

You guys didn't think I was going to give you a killer band like Doom and then not make you read a story and listen to some pretty silly music did you?  If you are a die hard hardcore fan you should skip this post unless you just want to do a little bit of reading.

 (my son's favorite soccer player Wayne Rooney)  From the ages of five to twelve I played AYSO soccer at Fairfax High School in LA.  That's where at least a few of the Chili Peppers went to school, at about that time.  It was there that I first saw Black Flag spray painted on a wall in about 79'.  I took the bus starting when I was ten, by myself, from 6th and Shatto, all the way down Wilshire, over to Beverley down to Fairfax, and walked up from there.  I wouldn't let my eleven year old take that bus ride by himself these days.  On that walk one time I got caught trying to steal a nudie magazine from a stand.  The kids I played with were mixed up into groups, the Jewish kids from that neighborhood, the rich kids from Hancock Park and kids like me from the surrounding ghettos.  It was cool, kids from so many races and backrounds playing together.  One kid from a neighborhood like mine that was also in AYSO soccer was Senon Williams.  Over the years we got to know each other pretty well and he was a good friend.  When I graduated from 6th grade we decided to move to the San Fernando Valley, Burbank, because my next school would be Virgil Junior High.  This school was not the best to go to for many reasons and I think got burned in the LA riots.  After that I would have gone to Belmont High, not the best school either for so many reasons.  I lost contact with all those kids that I had played soccer with.  Six years later I graduated from Burbank High and got accepted to Syracuse University in New York and Humboldt State in Cali.  I couldn't afford to go to Syracuse, so Humboldt it was, which was fine by me because it was as far as you could get from the LA area and still be in the state.  On the first day I was up at HSU I met a guy named Gage, we are still good friends to this day.  He looked just like a member of the Ramones, who I really dug on, so we hit it off pretty quickly.  He was staying in Redwood dorm while I was staying in Sunset which are right next to each other.  We got up there and I was tripping out on the newness of the whole experience and this giant black guy with dreads rolls up to me and says, "what's up Justin" (or something like that).  I was really tripping at this point because I was kind of skinhead looking and this guy was like 6'6".  As it turned out this was my old childhood friend Senon Williams.  My first real experience with the small world phenomenon.  We caught up and actually hung out quite a bit for the years I was up there.  He had a roommate from Berkeley named Jeremy Valverde who I ended up hangin out a bunch with two.  Next to them was this guy Stephen and some other guy.  Stephen taught me how to roll my own cigarettes (joints), how to blow smoke rings and got me into huffing nitrous oxide.  Brain cells were dying fast there.  Stephen was killed by a logging truck on his way back to school the next year.  Anyway Jeremy turned me onto some of the best blues I have ever heard, which I will have to post some day when I can find the tape.  One thing we had in common was Egyptian Lover.  We used to crank that shit from their dorm room all the time.  I used to listen to that guy with the Mexican kids in my old neighborhood.  Historic stuff if you actually give it a listen even though it sounds pretty silly to my ears now.  It was disco's transission into techno rap.  Here's a pic I found of Senon with a guy named Zac, also from HSU, who played in a band I've already posted, Dieselhed.  Senon has played in a ton of bands but I guess has been in the Radar Bros. for some time.  Here's a tune by them, Radar Bros-On Nautilus .  I found some info about them here, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radar_Bros and a website for them here, http://www.radarbros.com/index.html .  Anyway check out Egyptian Lover and tell me what you think.  Haha. Doom - Doomed From The Start

 I couldn't find any pictures I liked for this post so you get a satelite picture of where I live.  If you click the thumbnail above, my house is on the bottom left and the creek where we love to hike is in that treeline at the top of the page.  You know these satelite images blow me away in a nerdy kind of way, but at the same time they're a little freaky.  Talk about someone invading what little privacy we have left.  I bet "they" have these things hooked up with infrared so "they" can tell if you're home.  Technology can be cool in some ways but I don't see how it has made us better people.  I guess it doesn't matter too much though because before too long we'll have this planet killed off with overpopulation and pollution anyway. That was starting to get a little dark so I will try to brighten it up a little bit with some Doom.  This is the only CD I have of these guys but I will be posting some 7"s later on.  I love to hear demos of bands because it kind of gives you a look at a band as they originally meant themselves to sound.  What a demo lacks in quality is usually made up by that 1st spark of creativity we are allowed to listen to.  I got this CD in the used bin of a record store in San Diego called Off The Record.  Pretty trendy place but you had idiots getting rid of good stuff there all the time.  Doom is a pretty good name for this band.  If you check at their label here, http://www.peaceville.com/ you'll see that they only have one CD available.  This release is on Vinyl Japan, http://www.discogs.com/label/Vinyl+Japan , but I couldn't tell if you can still get it.  Let me know.  If you like that Discharge crusty sound you'll love this.  Check out a couple of sample tunes. The Dread - Six Song Demo

 I haven't pulled one of those rare tape things out in a while so I thought I would do so now.  In the next week or so my turntable will arrive and we will take this to a whole other level (thanx Slam).  I still have more tapes and cd's to rip but what I've always wanted to do was my vinyl.

These guys aren't a Humboldt, Ca band but I went ahead and put them in that category.  Actually they were from the Concord area, but Humboldt is where I got knew them and saw them play.  It's funny, when I was looking for an image for this post I found a website that said "Concord, where families come first".  Haha.  We played with them several times and we always had a blast.  They were fun to hang out with and certainly weren't the dickheads that Green Day was.  I wouldn't call this hardcore but I would definately call this melodic punk.  Give them a listen and let me know if you know what happened to these guys.

Internet Wanderings - Homage To The Other Blogs

 I had been wanting to digitize my music for a long time and when Jefe the Leftoverking turned me on to my first blog, I decided I wanted to do that as well.  When you look across the net, I wasn't the first to have that idea and I certainly won't be the last.  There are quite simply some insane blogs out there and they vary quite a bit.  For the most part I check the ones in my links on a regular basis but I also use Blogsearch if I'm looking for something in particular.  You can basically find almost anything you want to listen to and I wanted to give you some samples of some stuff that I have found that I either thought was cool because you would have never heard it before or it was just plain old good.  All the stuff I have posted here I got from one or another of the blogs I have linked up.  If you love music, do yourself a favor and check those blogs out and be sure to leave a comment.  Enjoy EDIT: Links deleted for fear of copyright police...go give your money to iTunes or something...

Snot - Alive!

 I seem to like posting bands that got no comments the first time around.  Am I pleading with you to like this band even though there's so many reasons not to?  Despite it being a Geffen band I think they rock.  Years ago I wouldn't have been caught dead listening to a big label band, even though in secret I did.  Music is an emotion and you either like a band or you don't.  There is always BS behind the music.  The question we need to ask, is the band doing it the way they want and making money or are they doing it just the way the label wants them to and to make money.  If it's the second case then it is just a consumer product and you can buy it like you do your favorite bag of chips.  I bet I could release some of these consumer rock bands on an independent label and you might see people come out of the woodwork to dig on them.  Maybe not.  If you look at what's popular you find it is what "most" people are into, otherwise it wouldn't be popular.  "Most" people suck in my opinion though and maybe that includes me.  The nice thing about music is that no one can force you to listen to it, you can always turn it off and listen to something else.  The blogosphere, as I've heard it called, has music for everyone's taste and I encourage everyone to use this resource.  If you just want the music go to Soulseek or whatever, but if you want to take it one step further go to a blog and get someone else's take on the music.

Extreme Noise Terror - Holocaust In Your Head

 I know I just did an ENT post but I got a request from Mat for this one and I just happened to have this in my collection.  It's not the one I think he wanted but I thought I would give it a try.  This is not the Distortion Records release it is on Sink Below records but I have a feeling this is the same recording with two extra tracks that weren't on the LP.  Sorry Mat it's all I've got, but listening to the two I like the Peel Sessions stuff better.  There's nothing like a really good recording of a band playing live except actually seeing them play live.  They've changed around over the years in both sound and personell but I still think they sound okay.  Check out their site here, http://www.extremenoiseterror.co.uk/ and see what they've got.  For those of you on the west coast of the US, they are going to be playing up and down the coast in April 2008.  Think they'll ever hit NoWhere Kansas?  Enjoy Ya'll. Coffee

 I am a big time coffee drinker, always have been, going back to when I was really young and my Cuban godparents would give me Cafe con Leche.  Breakfast every morning consisted of a bowl of corn flakes (the Tony the Tiger variety) and a cup of really strong coffee, equal part warmed milk and several spoons of sugar.  Good stuff.  When I was in the band WD-40, we played a song called Caffeine that Steve wrote.  "Too much caffeine maybe I'm a feind, I don't need a cigarette if you know what I mean".  Slam should remember when we worked together on the grounds crew, drinking stong coffee with Dennis and talking about his experiences in Vietnam.  Dennis was there as one of Kennedy's "advisors" back in the early 60's and had some pretty wild stories to tell.  He was pretty psychologically messed up from the whole experience.  I should do a post sometime about his stories.  Anyway back to coffee.  As I said before I am a big time coffee drinker.  Here in NoWhere Kansas, one thing people do besides drink alcohol and start making babies at an early age, is have people over for coffee.  This is something I really enjoy doing is having coffee and visiting with people.  You end up talking about every subject imaginable, depending on who you're having coffee with, but the flow of conversation usually ends up with religion, politics, philosophy and how these relate to country living.  Hell, my cousins own a coffee shop about an 1/2 hour north of where I live, with good, expensive coffee drinks to be had.  My wife and I will drive an hour away to go get groceries two times a month and that trip always includes getting a good cup of coffee.  Another thing I like to do is check out people's coffee pots, hence the above picture.  We have a Bunn at home that we got as a wedding present, which I like because it makes a quick pot and when I want my coffee, I want it now (that's the old doper alcoholic in me).  The above picture was taken at the local firestation.  The usual cheap office coffee pot you see all the time, but what I thought was interesting was that they had their biohazzard containers right next to it.  These containers were full and actually in the blurry picture you can see that they had their Gevalia coffee sitting on top of one of them.  Good for a sort of weird sick laugh I thought.

Just the one song above on this post, which is actually from one of my first posts, the WD-40 demo that you should check out (not bad if I say so myself for a bunch of skate rats).  More music on the next post I promise.  There's 75 posts worth of music so far on this site and several of them have no comments.  Now that my site is back up and running, (you don't know how happy I am about that) you should listen to some tunes and tell me what's up even if you think the music sucks.

Extreme Noise Terror - Peel Sessions

When I first started this blog I was very idealistic about how things would work.  I've already hit on some of these things and I won't get into that.  One thing I thought is that I would try not to post things you can find on another site.  I realize now how silly that idea was because there are so many blogs with so many posts and not all of them, including mine are represented on Blogsearch and Totally Fuzzy.  If I post something you have seen before I apologize, but I can do whatever I want on my site and I will always make stuff available at 320 kbs.  I encourage you to go to my links and visit those Mustard approved sites and find stuff there because they do a better job and what you'll find there is probably rarer.  It doesn't matter anyway though because these are for listening purposes only and not for download or to be kept for over 24 hours.  Right?

I know this has been posted all over the place a hundred times, but I like it so much I just had to put it on my site.  These guys are just at absolutely their best on this one.  Feel free to disagree (freedom ya know).  Some speed, dual vocals and a super heavy sound.  How can you miss?  I wish I had this on vinyl but I just have it on cd.  I haven't mentioned this yet but I wanted to say a little something about my categories.  I put this under hardcore, which is a very broad category for me, even though so much of what I've read says that hardcore died in '86.  For me it is what kind of spirit I think these bands are playing in and misc music is everything else.  Once again, feel free to disagree.  Here, this is (once again?) for you.  A taste of the sounds for you,

Cypress Hill

I mentioned these guys a while back and it turned out that a bunch of us had all gone to see them at the same show in Humboldt in the late 80's.  Well this post does not resemble the band at that show in the least.  This is the stuff I wish they were playing when we all went to see them.  This is a kind of rap metal and is represented that way in my categories.  If you're familiar with the band you will recognize them but this is like a whole new band.  This was given to me by I can't remember who but I happily accepted once I heard it.  I love it when rappers use a live band and this shines in a hard heavy kind of way.  All I have is disc 2 "Bones" so you'll have to buy it in order to hear the whole "Skull and Bones" cd.  Here's a couple of samples for you. Creedle - Silent Weapons For Quiet Wars

Wikipedia says, "Creedle was an avant-jazz-punk-art-damaged band" and rather than try to be creative I will just go with that.  This buddy of mine Chris Squire,  turned me onto the whole music scene in San Diego, ie. the Casbah (a "hip" night club, before there was such a thing as hipsters), and of course like a brick of gold to the side of the head, Creedle.  I ended up seeing Creedle play several times, at several local venues, but was blown the fuck away at that first show.  Wanna say that you have to be a musician to appreciate this band, you don't of course, it just helps.  Every show I saw they were super tight, complicated and full of energy.  I don't even know who to compare them to, maybe No Means No, Jesus Lizard ???  You tell me. Dr. Know - This Island Earth/Wreckage In Flesh

Okay, before you rush to make a comment on this one, I know that old Nardcore, Mystic, Dr. Know with Brandon Cruz singing is much better than this.  This one has sentimental value and I guess everything I post on here does in one way or another.  For what they are I dig both of these albums.  I actually had a chance 7 or 8 years ago to catch the Dead Kennedys (band) with Brandon singing.  Without Jello it's just not the Dead Kennedys, putting all that legal crap aside, but I thought Brandon did a really good job.  Of course I was stupid drunk like I used to be all the time so who knows.  When Slam and I lived together up in Kneeland we used to listen to this cd all the time.  There was a time there for a while in the early 90's where you could get two or more albums on one cd all the time.  I really like This Island Earth but the song we used to listen to all the time was Lake Of Fire from Wreckage in flesh.  How could you go wrong with lyrics like "charging from this hallow earth, geothermal red alert", sung in a high falsetto?  Slam and I were usually pretty out of it during this time in one way or another, but you could hear this cranking out of our shack in the mountains.  I think we half way did it to piss off our hippy neighbors.  Our friends up in Humboldt should remember those days for at least the barbeques we used to have featuring shark tacos.  Does anybody remember Slam and the jalapenos.  There's probably lots to be remembered that went on up there but we'll leave those crazy times alone. I either got this because of a review in Flipside or Maximum R&R, or I got it from the Toxic Shock record store.  I never did follow up and see if they came out with more stuff, but I did play the hell out of this tape.  It reminded me of a straight edge vegetarian, early DRI.  If you read along with the lyrics you can see this guy really belts out the words at a super fast pace.  I really like the packaging (double sided photo copy) with all the lyrics to the songs.  My two favorites way back when were, "What Right Do We Have" and "Resenting thePast", but listening to it now, just about every song rips.  Sorry, the demo is seriously lo-fi and I did my best ripping it.  I looked around and didn't find much, so I would appreciate any and all info about this band.

Mayhem(NYC) - Rehearsal

 The old style Daisy BB gun my wife got me for Valentines day.  My son thought that was about the coolest gift anyone could receive on Valentines Day.

I didn't get much of a response from my first Mayhem post so here's another one.  I like the other live show better but this is kinda cool.  I really don't have much to say about this one.  I did my best ripping this tape but as you can tell it is several generations down the line in tape trading.  If anyone knows anything about this band it would be cool to know, I just can't find anything on the net.  If you like this a little bit do yourself a favor and check my other Mayhem post.

Linton Kwesi Johnson - Dread Beat An Blood

  A beautiful 70 degree day yesterday (very rare for this time of year), so my wife and I decided to take our dogs for a run.  The first picture is from my back yard and second is of the creek (crick) down where those trees are in the first picture.  If you have dogs then you know how cool this is for both humans and dogs. I got this tape when I was in going to school at HSU and working in the dorms.  My first job was as a housekeeper (ha ha) and then I got on the grounds keeping crew which is the most prestigious job on campus, next to professor.  Not really, but a killer job anyway.  I was working by the dorms and in between mowing lawns I heard this music coming out of one of the third story rooms.  This was like nothing I had heard before.  I hollared up to the room and ended up taking to the guy for a while.  I can't remember his name, but he was really cool in a kind of a trippy way and was definately not your average dorky kid just out of high school.  He ended up dubbing the tape for me and I played the hell out of it over the years.  I have another album of his but I don't think it is as good as this.  I don't know too much about this guy except that he is a dub poet and definately has some pretty powerful stuff to say.  I found this on youtube, http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=JlY6gLe3Lkw&feature=related , and saw that he has his own record label here, http://www.lkjrecords.com/ .  I could not find this on his site or anywhere else so I assume it is out of print.  If you can find this go buy it, but in the mean time here's a few tunes for you. Garden Weasel - Live (09/21/91)

 This here stereogram is for Alex, Slam and any other riders of waves out there.  Don't forget these are thumbnails and are much easier to see big.  The best way to look at these to get the effect is to focus on the relection in the screen and not the image itself.  you kind of have to cross your eyes.  I think I like these because I did WAY too much acid and mushrooms and what not back in the day.   I like this one for this Garden Weasel post because we were kind of devilish.  Ha ha.  Actualy we weren't too bad.  This is the last one I have except for the seven inch and I had seen that I hadn't posted a GW post in a while.  Yeah, I know I post too much of my own music but I have a lot of fun doing it, because all we ever did was play shows and parties in Humboldt county.  Now we're all over the world for what it's worth.

I don't remember too much about this party because I was pretty wasted (as usual).  I do remember it was up on California st. in Arcata California at Dawn, Meuter and Gail's on the deck.  Gail had this gigantic snake that used to eat rabbits, I didn't like that too much.  She was also good friends with NOFX so they would come up and party sometimes.  By the way, Gage do you remember getting me backstage to see those guys in San Diego?  As I said I was pretty wasted at this show and in fact I have a feeling that Ed was probably the only one who wasn't.  Check his link under Dead Ed and see if he has anything to say about this party.  We were pretty sloppy on this recording and the quality isn't that good, but not too bad for being recorded on a ghetto blaster.  I'm just posting some of my favorite songs, but I have the whole thing too.
