Mom & "the Buddha Baby"
Jimi Hendrix - Manic Depression Live on BBC Late Night Line Up...On April 17, 1967
Fave tune by these guys!
Mom turned my onto them sometime in the mid to late 70s,
with this bootleg of his last show in LA 1970.
Shout out to all the relics out there
few in number, but strong in my heart.
(the above GIF is for my pal deutsche!
...you remember brother :-)
This month is a heavy one for old Mostaza aka Mustard
Graham, as my Son called her,
would have been 76 this month.
Missed beyond measure.
She would also be stoked, I think,
to know I've been doing this blogging thing for 17 years now.
There were a few brief breaks,
and some major changes over time,
by forces from within and without,
but it's still mostly music and Mustard mumblings.
*self explanatory graphic of Scooby riding in a Vdub Bug.
19 fucking 78...what were you listening to?
Whatever it was, put it away and listen to what was going on,
somewhere in Australia at the same time.
For god's sake this is just a rehearsal
and they're fucking anvil hard!
SPK SPK SPK OK!
Speaking of Scooby earlier,
Shag and Scoob are 55 this year.
The graphic above is the OG Shaggy from 1969!

got to see this guys in Denver last weekend.
They were popular in the very early in the 2000s
but I was getting my drinking started daily very early in those days.
This was another live version of my favorite song that night.
Being the beat up brain damaged old man that I am,
we found a spot were we could sit and enjoy the show.
I think that's when Phil told me I was...
the tallest dwarf in the circus...hahah.
Cheers Phil!
I'm busy digging it...
