lifelike dead animals

The name of this post comes from an old hoaky TV commercial for a taxidermist,
It make's me think of you and I and the rest of humanity.
I don't stand on either side of the so called "aisle".
In fact I don't acknowledge the percieved authority of aisle, itself.
Smoke and mirrors, my friends, it's just a show.

My old college pal Phil
was at this show in Ashville, NC
pretty badass tune with these jaz fusion-esque solos
and then slamming right back into the jam
dude (Billy Strings) has gotten huge since the "Dust in a Baggie" days

This is Phil's gig right now,
and will be one of the stickers going on my bug when I get it this Spring.
Be on the lookout for Tsunami Salt Co.

'Tis ours, the dignity they give to grace
The first in valour, as the first in place;
That when with wondering eyes our confidential bands
Behold our deeds transcending our commands,
Such, they may cry, deserve the sovereign state,
Whom those that envy dare not imitate!
-from The Iliad-

Yeah it's been posted here before,
it was time to bring it up again...
"I Like Cola!"

This is THE spot if you're ever in the area,
D-licious and this is another sticker going on the buggaloo.

One of the best pop punk bands
covered by one of the best thrash metal bands.
Athens Georgia done by Houston Texas.

Leaving you with some wisdom, my friends.
Don' just sleep well, wake well!

  1. I did taxidermy at HSU, fun stuff. Mine wasn't the 'stuff the mighty white man glory of the kill' taxidermy, but learning about the critter, what made it die, how it lived, and to teach others on how the individual looked alive. Some of my friends are still on display in the wildlife building
